Manufacturing Leadership Council Announces Partnership to Deliver Leadership Development Program
Cambridge Leadership Associates Will Provide Program Based on 'Adaptive Leadership' Principles
NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Manufacturing Leadership Council, an executive network designed to define and shape a better future for manufacturers worldwide, today announced a strategic partnership with Cambridge Leadership Associates LLC to deliver a leadership development program to selected Council members in 2012.
The leadership development program is based on the Adaptive Leadership concepts developed by Ron Heifetz and Marty Linsky, both Harvard University faculty members. Adaptive Leadership is designed to help individuals and organizations develop the leadership capacity to thrive in complex, challenging and competitive environments. Platinum-level Manufacturing Leadership Council members are eligible for the program.
"This Adaptive Leadership program for Manufacturing Leadership Council members couldn't be more timely as manufacturers of all sizes and in all industry sectors are dealing with changing business models, new ways of working and the corresponding need for more impactful ways to lead," said David R. Brousell, Vice President & Editorial Director at Manufacturing Executive, the parent organization of the Manufacturing Leadership Council. "Cambridge Leadership Associates' unique leadership program focused on adaptation will enable manufacturing executives to become better leaders achieving meaningful change and stimulating innovation across their organizations. This opportunity is essential for individuals committed to helping their organizations grow and prosper through today's challenges and tomorrow's increased complexity."
"In today's volatile business market, success will greet those who are most adaptable," added Jeff Lawrence, Principal at Cambridge Leadership Associates. "The program we are putting together for Council members will help manufacturing executives learn how to lead their teams and their organizations to thrive amidst the increasing global competition they face."
