Mannheim & Tongji Executive MBA Program Places in Financial Times' Top 50 EMBA Program Ranking
SHANGHAI, Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 16, 2017, the Financial Times (FT) released the 2017 Global EMBA Ranking. The Mannheim & Tongji Executive MBA program, which took part in the survey for the first time, was placed 46th in the prestigious ranking, making the list of The FT's top 50 executive MBA programs and earning the distinction of being the only Sino-German dual-degree EMBA program included in the list.
FT's annual business school ranking is recognized worldwide due to its adherence to the highest evaluation standards. The ranking is compiled through an independent evaluation of 16 indicators, including the career progress of the program's graduates, international diversity of teaching staff, board members and EMBA students, as well as the international course experience provided by the program. The Mannheim & Tongji Executive MBA program was named as one of the ten bests in three key indicators:
- 9th in career progress
- 8th in international diversity of teaching staff, board members and EMBA students
- 9th in international course experience
The Mannheim& Tongji Executive MBA program was co-developed by the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University and Mannheim Business School, often referred to as the "Harvard of Germany", in 2011. The program focuses on the training of top talents who have a deep understanding of Chinese and German cultures and are fit for executive roles in multinational companies.
The program consists of three modules in Shanghai and three modules in Mannheim, with Chinese and German students equally represented in the program. The program aims to help future managers and leaders from the two countries develop their capabilities in leading the development of a nation or a company, representing a meaningful exploration characterized by innovation at the top tier of the business education spectrum.
