WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Dec. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mani Brothers Real Estate Group and its luxury beachfront property, Malibu Beach Inn, have donated $50,000 toward wildfire relief efforts following the devastating Woolsey Fire in the hotel's Southern California community, as well as the Camp Fire that affected Northern California.
This week, Joseph Mani, Chief Operating Officer, and Gregory Day, President of Hospitality and General Manager of the group's Malibu Beach Inn, donated $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, specifically for the local teachers that lost their homes and possessions in the fire, as well as an additional $25,000 to the Salvation Army of Butte County. The donation will aid in the organization's efforts to assist those left without homes or resources after the destruction in the community of Paradise.
Day, who grew up in Butte County and now works in Malibu, found the experience particularly restorative. "Giving back to the communities where we live and work is vital, and we are honored to be in a position to be able to do so," he said. "Not only do we own properties in both parts of the state, but I was raised in neighboring Chico and currently reside in Southern California, so both areas are dear to my heart. We hope that these donations will help each community rebuild."
Mani Brothers Real Estate Group owns Malibu Beach Inn, located on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, where they recently hosted a complimentary Thanksgiving Feast open to anyone affected by the Woolsey Fire. The group also purchased the Napa Valley Embassy Suites earlier this year, and it will undergo an extensive renovation and rebrand in the coming months.
