Lisl Dunlop Brings Robust Global Antitrust Background to New York Office

NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, announced that Lisl J. Dunlop has joined the firm as a partner in the Antitrust group, based in the firm's New York office. Dunlop comes to Manatt from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where she was a member of the Antitrust group and helped launch its United Kingdom competition law practice.

With over 20 years of experience, Dunlop advises leading national and multinational companies in an array of industries—particularly those in the media, technology and healthcare sectors—on a broad range of antitrust counseling, litigation and transactional matters. She advises clients on antitrust-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and sales and distribution matters. Highly experienced in international representations, Dunlop has coordinated the multijurisdictional defense of transactions throughout the world. In addition to the U.S. federal and state antitrust enforcement agencies, she has appeared before the European Commission, the UK Office of Fair Trading, and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. She also has represented major corporations in complex antitrust litigation, including multidistrict treble damages class actions.
