Managing Partner Kevin Colosimo Presents on Landman Ethics at Kentucky Mineral Law Conference

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kevin Colosimo, managing partner of Burleson LLP's Pittsburgh office, will present Landman at the Door, a session on ethical considerations for oil, gas, and minerals leasing, at the Kentucky Mineral Law Conference. The annual seminar is being hosted by the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation on Oct. 22 and 23 in Lexington.

Colosimo's talk will address recent jurisprudence, ethical codes of conduct, and guidelines promulgated by the American Association of Professional Landmen and American Bar Association to help attorneys and landmen working in the field maintain ethical integrity in transactions with landowners. He will also discuss common accusations of misconduct brought against oil and gas professionals and recommended strategies for responding to such allegations.
