Management Concepts Releases New Whitepaper - Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Senior Executive Service (SES) Retention: Insights from the SES Exit Survey

TYSONS CORNER, Va., Dec. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Management Concepts, Inc., the nation's premier provider of training and professional development solutions for the public and private sectors, announced today that it has released the highly anticipated whitepaper, Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Senior Executive Service (SES) Retention: Insights from the SES Exit Survey.

Since 2013, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has produced and released the results of the exit survey of SES members. In the 2017 SES Exit Survey Report, which includes the results from the 2015-2016 survey, OPM provided information on SES members' perspectives on their service.

Management Concepts analyzed the ECQ rankings data, coupled with the reasons that SES members endorsed as contributing factors to their departures, and presents in the whitepaper a framework to understand the ECQs and their relationship to SES retention. This framework will be discussed at the Senior Executive Service Presidential Rank Awards on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
