Management Concepts Announces Presentation at TOC 2015 Annual Institute
TYSONS CORNER, Va., April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Management Concepts, the nation's premier provider of professional development, performance improvement, and talent management solutions for the public sector, today announced Stuart H. Weinstein, Ph.D., Practice Leader for Instructional Systems at Management Concepts, will present at the Training Officer's Consortium (TOC) 2015 Annual Institute, taking place April 26-29, 2015 in Roanoke, Virginia.
Weinstein will present "Assuring Successful Training Innovations: Building and Deploying with Maximum Impact." A session abstract follows:
Training, education, and instructional innovation is typically viewed as creating, converting, or redesigning a module, course, or curriculum by employing the latest (and most popular) design approach, learning technology, or motivational techniques. However, there are basic human attributes regardless of geographical location, educational level, societal beliefs, language spoken, or personal goals that are shared throughout the world. This presentation will provide insight to those universal behaviors that, when addressed in the creation of training, will result in a greater chance for successful implementation.
Weinstein also serves as an adjunct professor in the Instructional Systems Development Graduate Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
The theme of the 2015 Annual Institute is "Connect, Learn, Lead." The Training Officers Consortium, founded in 1938 in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization of Federal trainers and other professionals from industry and academe who are interested in contributing to the knowledge and practice of human resources and training. Its members provide services and networking opportunities to the Federal training community throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area as far south as Hampton, Virginia.
