Make The Connection With Matrix: The Get Connected Tour Lands in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- This month, Matrix is calling Omaha "home" with the Matrix Get Connected Tour.  This month-long series targets Omaha-area hairstylists, colorists and salon industry professionals with events, hands-on education courses and business building programs.  The Matrix Get Connected Tour also helps open the door to new, more fruitful careers in the hair care industry with Artistic Educator auditions, a cosmetology school scholarship and a chance to go head-to-head with top Matrix Artistic Designers in the Matrix Iron C.R.A.F.T. Challenge.

The Omaha-based Matrix Get Connected Tour will feature top award-winning celebrity stylists including Ammon Carver, Nicholas French, Cori Randall and Daniel Roldan, who have collectively worked with Bruce and Patti Springsteen, Courtney Love and Ivanka Trump and have been featured in top fashion publications such as Vanity Fair, Glamour and Allure.   These featured stylists, among others, will be on hand to teach a variety of classes to enhance the skills and knowledge of stylists in the Omaha area.  Classes include, but are not limited to:

• Avant-Garde Hair – How to take clients from great to glam with celebrity-inspired styles
• All-Access Cut, Color and Finishing – Discover new, unique ways to view a client's needs and create an array of diverse looks through cut, color and styling

In addition to courses and education, Matrix is hosting Artistic Educator auditions to find new talent and providing an amazing opportunity to advance a stylist's career by connecting them to the largest education force industry wide.

For the non-stylist, Matrix is offering "Next Top Stylist: Xenon International Academy Scholarship Contest."  An opportunity to embark on a new and exciting career path, applicants will have 15 minutes to share their story with a panel of Matrix judges (their passions, why they want to be a stylist, etc). The winner receives $10,000 toward tuition at Xenon International Academy.

After a month of classes, contests and newfound knowledge, stylists in Omaha will have the chance to compete in the ultimate showdown: the Matrix Iron C.R.A.F.T. Challenge featuring Tabatha Coffey of Bravo's "Tabatha's Salon Takeover," who will be on site to give spring hair tips and advice to consumers and future stylists, the challenge pits teams of stylists against the Matrix Artistic Design Team for cash prizes and a feature in Matrix Monthly and on MatrixCRAFT.com.
