Make Education Great: Online Contest from Microsoft Will Award $25,000 to Winning Idea
NEW YORK, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you have a plan to make education great? Would you start an after-school arts program? Would you incorporate more fruits and vegetables in school lunches?
Visit www.makeeducationgreat.com to enter your idea for a chance to win a grand prize of $25,000 for you and your designated school in the Make Education Great Contest, sponsored by Time Inc.
The contest runs until October 11, 2010 and can be completed in three easy steps:
- Enter your information online and designate a school or educational institution.
- Complete an online template that describes your idea, the benefits, and how you'll make the plan great.
- Upload your final plan using a Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office Mac 2008 application, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote. Entrants who do not have Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office Mac 2008 will be able to download a free trial version for a PC or a MAC.
The winning entry will be announced in early December and one $25,000 grand prize will be awarded, with a $5,000 cash prize going to the individual who submitted the winning entry and $20,000 to the educational institution that they selected.
