September 22 unreserved public auction features more than 1,300 equipment items and trucks

Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct a multi-million dollar unreserved public auction at its Atlanta, GA auction site on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. More than 1,300 equipment items and trucks will be sold on auction day, including 175+ items consigned by Newnan, GA-based Setco Grading LLC. Setco Grading LLC is a division of Thomas Enterprises Inc., a Georgia-based real estate development company founded in 1987. Their consignment in Ritchie Bros.' Atlanta auction is part of a major realignment that also included consignments in two other recent Ritchie Bros. auctions-Orlando, FL (on August 18, 2010) and Houston, TX (on August 26 - 27, 2010). Their package of equipment being sold in the September 22 Atlanta auction includes: ten 2007 Peterbilt 379 twin-axle dump trucks, six 2006 Caterpillar 621G motor scrapers and six Caterpillar D6N LGP crawler tractors, as well as 12 hydraulic excavators, eight articulated dump trucks and six compactors.
Other highlights of the auction include 65+ forklifts, 55+ skid steer loaders, 40+ mini excavators and 20+ midi excavators, as well as a great selection of transportation equipment.
