Major Changes at Nuix as Former US Ambassador to Australia Jeffrey Bleich Joins Board and CEO Eddie Sheehy Departs
HERNDON, Va., Jan. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Global technology company Nuix today announced that former US ambassador to Australia Jeffrey Bleich has joined the Nuix Board. Mr. Bleich takes-up the board position of Eddie Sheehy who has resigned as CEO and from the Nuix Board.

Mr. Bleich served as US ambassador to Australia from 2009 to 2013, and as Special Counsel to President Obama in the White House during the first year of his Administration. Mr. Bleich is currently Group CEO and a Partner at Dentons, the world's largest law firm, where he leads in cybersecurity and international disputes.
The Nuix Board intends to engage an international search for a CEO with a global IPO skillset to lead Nuix through its next phase of growth and development. Until the board appoints a CEO, Nuix co-founder and Chairman Dr. Tony Castagna will assume many of the current CEO responsibilities with the able support of a highly experienced senior team from offices around the world.

Mr. Bleich currently counsels many of the world's leading companies on cybersecurity and digital governance. He has served as a senior advisor to federal and state governments on cyber-intelligence matters. Most recently he served as senior advisor to the U.S. Government on cybersecurity and as a member of the California Attorney General's cyber-exploitation commission. Among other honors, Mr. Bleich has received the highest civilian honors awarded by the U.S. State Department, the Director of National Intelligence, and the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Bleich was appointed by President Obama to serve as Chair of the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. He has previously served as the Chair of the California State University Board of Trustees, President of the California State Bar, President of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and Chair of the American Bar Association's ' Amicus Curiae Committee. Mr. Bleich was elected as a life member to both the American Law Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations.
