Maintech Service Solution for Microsoft Windows 10 Migration Available
CRANFORD, N.J., Jan. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Maintech, Incorporated, a leader in providing Enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure Managed Services and Data Center Support and Management, today announces that it has a service solution available to assist customers migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Microsoft Windows 7 operating system will reach the "End of Service" date for extended support on January 14, 2020. Once the end date is reached, Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7 operating system with any patches for functionality or for security.
"Security vulnerabilities in desktops and laptops used to access corporate systems can expose company and customer data to risks," said Frank D'Alessio, President at Maintech. "Many organizations face technological and/or purchase cycle timing challenges to acquire new systems with the most current operating system installed, so upgrading current systems will be the smart solution for many customers," D'Alessio further stated.
Upgrading systems to Windows 10 will be a task that requires a great deal of project planning. In this scenario, no patch will be available in Windows 7.
