Maine Public Employees Retirement System Goes Live with the V3 System

The V3 System helps improve customer service, expand operating capabilities and contain costs for State Pension Fund

NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitech Systems Group, a leading provider of benefits administration software, announced today that the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) has gone live with Vitech's V3 System. V3 is now MainePERS' system of record for nearly 100,000 plan participants.

"The system will help us improve operations, deliver a higher level of customer service to our participants, and flexibly respond to new administrative requirements," stated Christine Gianopoulos, Deputy Executive Director of MainePERS.

MainePERS is using the V3 System for membership, employer reporting, contributions processing, retirement calculations, group life insurance administration and benefits payroll. The system also includes imaging, workflow and self-service capabilities. The system go-live was the result of a multi-year implementation effort that was overseen and executed jointly by Vitech and MainePERS.
