FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MAHLE, one of the world's top 30 automotive industry suppliers, officially opened an expanded North American headquarters campus in suburban Detroit today.

The nearly $20 million expansion project consolidates operations previously located in Novi and Ann Arbor, Mich., onto the company's new campus in Farmington Hills.
MAHLE has consolidated four locations on the expanded Farmington Hill campus. The Test Systems and Engineering Services business of MAHLE Powertrain, LLC moved from rented space in Novi and is now consolidated under one roof with the Tech Center operations of the Engine Systems and Components business unit.
MAHLE Industries, Incorporated corporate functions such as Central Controlling, Finance, Human Resources and IT also moved from Novi and are now in the same building with the central Sales organization.
MAHLE's aftermarket business unit, MAHLE Clevite Inc., relocated from offices in Ann Arbor to Farmington Hills.
There are nearly 400 employees on the Farmington Hills campus.
