Magnetic Names Alex Dorman As New Chief Technology Officer
Leading Search Retargeting Company Welcomes Dorman to Executive Team
NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Magnetic (www.magnetic.com), the leader in search retargeting, announced today the appointment of Alex Dorman as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Dorman will be responsible for spearheading the strategic development of Magnetic's infrastructure, as well as the innovations within the company's bidding platform and retargeting technology.

Dorman holds more than twenty years of technology experience and fifteen years of experience managing engineering and IT operations teams. Before joining Magnetic, Dorman was the technology leader at Proclivity Media. Prior to joining Proclivity, Dorman served as Vice President of Engineering of ContextWeb, where he built one of the first online advertising exchanges. Earlier accomplishments included managing the development organizations at Travelport (Travel Distribution Division) and at Bluefly.com. Alex began his career at Intel Software Labs in Israel after completion of his M.Sc degree in Applied Mathematics from Nuclear Power Engineering Institute in Russia.
