MagneGas Files New Provisional Patent Application

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MNGA), the developer of a technology that converts liquid waste into hydrogen-based fuels, announced today that it filed a new provisional patent application on the unique properties of MagneGas fuels.

Recent research and development revealed properties of MagneGas that the Company believes hold patentable characteristics, prompting it to file the provisional application. This provisional application does not relate directly to any apparatus or process. Instead, it relates to the composition of MagneGas™ fuel. The Company believes the application could lead to a new generation of patent security for MagneGas and its shareholders.
