SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Magellan is pleased to exhibit at this year's Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT at the Vendor Expo March 24 – 25. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how the TRX7 can increase trail safety and enjoyment, and enhance their overall off-road experience.
Every year, thousands of off-road enthusiasts from around the world gather in Moab to experience the red desert from mesa top to canyon bottom at the Easter Jeep Safari. The event, hosted by Red Rock 4-Wheelers Inc., covers 40 different trails ranging in difficulty. Experienced, friendly trail officials guide all participants in this nine-day event to ensure a fun and safe experience. This year's event is expected to be the largest yet, with 10,000 – 15,000 attendees.
"We are thrilled to be a part of the 50th Anniversary Easter Jeep Safari," said Sam Muscariello, director of product marketing at Magellan. "It is a great opportunity to really connect with the 4x4 community while at the same time showcasing our powerful new off-road navigator. We look forward to spending time with such a dedicated off-road community."
Making its first debut at the Easter Jeep Safari Vendor Expo, the TRX7 is the ultimate off-road navigator. It features a 7" high-resolution touchscreen protected by a ruggedized IP67 shock-resistant casing, includes a genuine RAM® mount (depending on model), hi-res (to 10 meters) 3D and 2D topo base map views, and easy to use interface for following trails, recording tracks, and marking waypoints. Crowd-sourced tracks provide a constantly updating library, allowing users to plan adventures, add pictures and comments to trails, and share with other off-roaders. The device also comes preloaded with over 44,000 designated OHV trails, making it the most comprehensive and purpose-built GPS navigators available for off-road enthusiasts.
The eXplorist TRX7 will be available to purchase at the Easter Jeep Safari for $649.99.
