Maersk and Drewry Will Give Speeches at Intermodal China 2013

Mr. Mike Fang, Managing Director of Maersk (China) Shipping Co., Ltd, North China, and Mr. Tim Power, Head of Maritime Advisors, Drewry Shipping Consultants will jointly deliver speeches on the container shipping market.
Mr. Mike Fang will share with industry players on the topics of "Global container liner industry -- facilitating trade," "Global container liner industry -- low profitability makes the industry unsustainable" and "Global container liner industry -- outlook."
Mr. Mike Fang has served as Managing Director of North China Cluster in Maersk Line since 2012, leading PRN cluster with around 250 members. Mr. Fang has about 15 years' practical managerial experience on sales and management in Maersk Line. His diverse working experience in China's different areas and oversea markets provided him in-depth local know-how, globalized perspective and keen market insight in the shipping industry.
Mr. Tim Power will share with the industry on the topics of "Roots of overcapacity in liner markets: Liner economics and the cycle; Historical market growth; Historical supply demand balance."
Mr. Tim Power has worked for 30 years in shipping, ports and supply chain management. With P&O Containers he had roles in container logistics and trade lane management, spending 6 years running Far East-Gulf and Europe-Red Sea and Gulf services. He joined the company's new Global Logistics division in 1995 where he ran the UK operation, which provided supply chain management, project cargo, airfreight and consolidation services. He left P&O Containers in 1998 and joined International Asset Systems as one of the start-up team that developed and launched InterBox a B2B exchange for container interchange. In 2001 he set up his own company, specialising in e-business, supply chain engineering and container logistics. He joined Drewry as Head of Maritime Advisors in November 2004 and has worked on numerous assignments including government policy, port development strategy, shipping company transformation, and transaction advice and due diligence.
