CHICAGO, Aug. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Street Capital, an international investment banking firm serving the middle market, is pleased to announce that Lawrence Alioto has joined the team as a Managing Director on its Capital Markets team. In this role, Lawrence Alioto will advise clients in the technology sector on M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Alioto began his career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a currency futures and options trader and later worked as a registered representative at PaineWebber in San Francisco. In the late 1990s, Lawrence moved into private equity finance and business development roles with two separate California based technology companies. From 2004-2013, he worked at VeriTainer Corporation, a developer of anti-terror maritime container radiation scanning systems. He was one of the founding principals and eventually served as the Company's President.

Since 2013, Lawrence has successfully financed and developed a wide variety of business interests, ranging from medical devices to energy efficient technologies to film production. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and is active in the management of Kaizen Oil Corp., which is leveraging an enhanced oil recovery solution under an asset acquisition model. Lawrence brings significant experience and expertise in finance, business development, corporate development and government affairs, having applied those skills both domestically and internationally.
