Madison International Realty Appoints Andrew Schaffler Director, Listed Real Estate Securities
NEW YORK, June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison International Realty, a leading real estate private equity firm, announced that Andrew Schaffler has joined the firm in the newly-created position of Director, Listed Real Estate Securities. Based in Madison's New York office, Schaffler will oversee all aspects of the firm's public markets investing activities.

Schaffler joins Madison from Cohen & Steers Capital Management, where he spent nine years on the portfolio management team, including five years on a long/short real estate hedge fund. Previously, he served as an analyst in the fund portfolio analytics group of Neuberger Berman, LLC.
Schaffler earned a B.S. degree in policy analysis and management from Cornell University. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), he is a CFA Institute Member and a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA).
