The Foundation publishes a guide to holiday gifts annually. This year the book is more than twice as large as last year, 90 pages crammed with hundreds of gifts and many ways to buy them.
The book is 6 x 9 inches, and comes in paperback or in an electronic version. The paperback costs $9.95 and is available at bookstores, Amazon.com and via the Foundation's website, www.madeusafdn.org. The electronic book sells for $2.99 at Amazon and on the Foundation's website.
The Made in the USA Foundation was formed in 1989. The Foundation has drafted and supported the Country of Origin Labeling Act (COOL), the American Automobile Labeling Act and many other country-of-origin laws. Now the Foundation is actively promoting American-made products with buying guides and at trade shows. Joel D. Joseph, Chairman of the Foundation, said, "Companies are coming back to the United States. Consumers are demanding American-made products, and U.S. companies are more competitive than ever in making high-quality consumer goods."
The Foundation is also joint venturing with Made in the USA Qatar to promote exports to the Gulf Region, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. This is the most important International Trade Exhibition in the Gulf States. This leading event in Qatar offers a business gateway for American companies to enter the Qatar and the Gulf markets. This exhibition aims to provide an opportunity for small to medium companies interested in establishing or expanding sales in the Gulf region. This show is a must for American companies looking to showcase their products and/or services and offers a tremendous gateway to enter the lucrative Qatar and GCC markets. The Gulf is the fastest growing region for U.S. goods and services. Contrary to the current world economy, this region is still experiencing tremendous economic growth.
