Made Continues Hiring Spree with Creative Team and Strategist
Boulder-based Creative Agency Adds Multicultural Specialists from Leading US Agencies
BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Made announced today the addition of three new executives to join the agency's Boulder headquarters: David Castellanos and Mariela Rueda, copywriter and art director, respectively, and Heather Barranco, strategist.
Castellanos and Rueda are originally from Mexico and have been working together for 8 years, including stops at five agencies, four cities and two countries. They most recently worked at Conill/Saatchi & Saatchi in Los Angeles on Toyota, Budweiser and Nestle. Of the appointment, Castellanos said, "Working at Made Movement at this moment is a great opportunity and a huge responsibility. We're not only helping Made grow and shape, Made is going to make us grow, too. Those are the best places to work at."
Made's chief creative officer Dave Schiff, said, "We didn't hire David, Mariela and Heather because they would make Made better from a multicultural perspective. We hired them because they would make us better, period. They're a very talented trio, capable of making great work not only for the Hispanic market, but for the general market as well."
Barranco most recently worked at La Communidad in Miami as a strategic planner, where she worked on Time Warner Cable, Corona Extra, Red Bull and others. "I'm extremely excited to be at Made." said Barranco. "The transition from Miami to Boulder has been so easy thanks to an amazing team of people with such an inspiring vision. I look forward to growing with them as a strategist as the agency continues to grow as well."
Made's chief strategy officer Graham Furlong, said, "At Made we're hell-bent on revealing human insights in the most disruptive and honest ways. David, Mariela and Heather understand the nuance of culture from multiple perspectives better than anybody and their talents make Made a more formidable force."
