Macerich to Webcast Management Presentation on October 5, 2010

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Macerich® (NYSE: MAC), today announced that Ed Coppola, President, and Tom O'Hern, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Doug Roscoe, Senior Property Manager of Santa Monica Place, will speak at the Macerich Investor/Analyst Day in Santa Monica, California.

The Macerich presentation will be held from approximately 3:10 pm to 4:30 pm Pacific Time, on Tuesday, October 5th.  The live audio-only webcast and presentation slides will be available online in the Investing Section of the Company's website at www.macerich.com.  An online replay will be available through 11:59 pm Pacific Time, November 30, 2010 at the same location.
