M.A.C. Welcomes New Legislative Coordinator
LANSING, Mich., May 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Michigan Association of Counties (M.A.C.) welcomes MoReno Taylor II to their staff as Legislative Coordinator. Taylor will be responsible for legislative issues pertaining to transportation, environment, agriculture, and tourism, as well as planning and zoning.
"With MoReno's prior experience in the House of Representatives as well as working for an active member office, we believe that he will be an excellent addition to the M.A.C. team," said Timothy McGuire, Executive Director for the Michigan Association of Counties. "We are very much looking forward to having MoReno join our association."
Prior to joining the M.A.C. team, Taylor served as a Policy Analyst for the Michigan House of Representatives for the Democratic Party. He has also worked as a Community Organizer for the Michigan House of Representatives Democratic Communications Department and as Legislative Director for Representative Bert Johnson (D-Detroit).
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University.
The Michigan Association of Counties (M.A.C.) founded on February 1, 1898, is the only statewide organization dedicated to the representation of all county commissioners in Michigan. M.A.C. is a non-partisan, non-profit organization which advances education, communication and cooperation among county government officials in the state of Michigan. M.A.C. is the counties' voice at the State Capitol, providing legislative support on key issues affecting counties.
