MAACO® Catches 'The Car Chasers' Fever
"America's Body Shop" Appears on CNBC's The Car Chasers
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MAACO®, part of the Driven Brands family of automotive companies, today announced "America's Body Shop" appears on season two of CNBC's popular original reality series "The Car Chasers." Season two premieres tonight, Tuesday, October 22 with two back-to-back episodes at 10PM ET/PT and 10:30PM ET/PT on CNBC.
During the first season of "The Car Chasers," the experts at Roy Seay's MAACO® in Lubbock, Texas helped refurbish close to a dozen cars including a showpiece '54 Mercury low-rider refinished with a period blue suede satin finish and silver scallops. That may seem a difficult effort to top, but they promise they have with the 20 cars remodeled for the show in Season 2.
"Everyone at MAACO® -- especially franchise owner Roy, his son Dan and the paint and body crew in Lubbock -- was really excited to once again be a part of the 'fix it' team put together by stars Jeff Allen and the team at Flat 12 this year," says Jose Costa, president, MAACO®. "The work done this season is a testament to the quality, care and attention to detail we try to show every customer that trusts MAACO® to turn the car they drive into the car they love."
In addition to the cars that will be revealed as this season of "The Car Chasers" unfolds, Roy's expert painters and body men helped to remodel a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, returning it to its original cherry red beauty. That car is part of The Car Chasers Custom Mustang Sweepstakes going on now. For more information, visit: cnbc.com/car-sweepstakes
"We had a lot of fun working with 'The Car Chasers' this year, and a few real challenges," says Roy Seay, franchise owner. "But you'll have to watch the full season to see for yourself, I'm not spilling the beans."
