M5 Networks Acquires Hosted VoIP Provider Geckotech

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- M5 Networks, the market leader in managed, hosted VoIP announced today its acquisition of Geckotech, the Chicago-based leader in Cisco-powered Hosted VoIP.  The companies have joined forces to better service the exploding demand for business-grade hosted communications.

M5 Networks will take over all of Geckotech's staff, customers, and datacenters. Both companies are recognized innovators in the VoIP industry and have remained competitive with other telecom alternatives through exceptional management of complex technology. They desired an enhanced phone experience and more robust applications for their customers, and they chose M5 Network's Call Conductor platform to fulfill those needs. Geckotech's clients will be seamlessly integrated to M5 Networks' systems throughout the next year with immediate access to the Call Conductor platform using existing phones.
