M-TriGen Launches Three New Micro Tri-Generation Gas Heat Pump Models
HOUSTON, April 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- M-TriGen, Inc., the world's only manufacturer of micro-combined cooling, heating and power generation (MCCHP) equipment, announced the launch of three new models of its innovative hybrid tri-generation and gas heat pump product following the authorization by INTERTEK to mark them for ETL standards. The innovative features of the new PowerAire models include the adoption of R-410A refrigerant as well as a gas heat pump option.
According to M-TriGen founder and CEO Donald Williams, "These new features go a long way to round out a full set of product options. The R-410A refrigerant is prevalent in most homes in the U.S. It also allows our distributors to avoid working with multiple refrigerants. And gas heat pumps add great efficiency since they use zero to 10% of the electricity of comparable electric heat pumps. This enables our customer to save significantly on their electric bills and to reduce peak load power requirements."
INTERTEK's authorization to mark is the second approval received by M-TriGen in less than two years and extends safety standards to a total of six models of tri-generation systems developed and produced by M-TriGen. The Company's PowerAire models have achieved ETL labeling approval and conform to UL Standards 1995 and 2200, ANSI Standard Z21.40.2 R(2002) and are certified to CSA Standards C22.2 Nos. 100 and 236 and CGA Standards 2.17 and 2.92 R(2002).
To receive an ETL label, products are tested against recognized safety standards, while manufacturing facilities and test processes are also reviewed. Once ETL labeling is achieved, a company's products are regularly tested and its facilities and processes audited to ensure continued compliance with safety standards.
