Products are used mainly in developing wireless applications
QUEBEC CITY, March 31 /PRNewswire/ - Lyrtech Inc. (Lyrtech) (TSXV: LTK), a worldwide leader in digital signal processing technologies, announced today that it has sold approximately $750,000 worth of products in China over the last six months, a significant increase over 2010.
Chinese universities and technological institutes, such as the Beijing Institute of Technology, the Tsinghua University and the Fudan University, and several companies purchased a variety of products from Lyrtech's Chinese distributor Hirain. These are used mainly, in multimode and wireless applications, but also in a number of other applications, such as medical imagery.
"Our technology has penetrated China and the rest of Asia extremely well. Lyrtech products continue to lead the development of next-generation wireless systems such as multimode, 4G and SDR devices," said Louis Bélanger, CEO of Lyrtech.
Lyrtech's sees positive ongoing developments from its sales and marketing efforts. It is working on additional opportunities and expects sustained growth from these markets in the future.
