Additionally, Lynn is a member of the U.S Women's Chamber of Commerce, Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum, and is a volunteer at Falls Church High School. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Allies Institute.

Throughout her educational career, she earned a BS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia, and is a Certified Environmental Specialist.
