Lynden International Names New Directors in Toronto and Houston
SEATTLE, Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lynden International announces the promotion of Rob Clarke to International Business Development Director for Canada and welcomes Charles Odom as new Business Development Director for Oil & Gas.
Based in Toronto, Clarke will develop trade lanes between the U.S. and Canada and strengthen Lynden's presence in the Canadian market. He will also work closely with Lynden's sales team to develop strategic markets between the two countries. Clarke has worked out of Lynden's Toronto office since 2008. He has more than 20 years of industry experience throughout Canada and studied at Humber College in Ontario.
Odom will work out of Lynden's Houston office to help identify new opportunities for oil patch business. He is also responsible for Lynden's branding efforts in Europe, the Middle East and South America. Odom is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCM), the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), International Transportation Managers Association (ITMA), and Texas State Wireless Association (TXWA). Prior to joining Lynden, he was a Regional Account Executive with Pilot Freight Services in Houston.
