Lynden International names new directors in Miami and Los Angeles

SEATTLE, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lynden International, a full-service freight forwarding and logistics company, welcomes Sergio Lotero as Business Development Manager for Latin America and Roark Beckstead as Business Development Director in Los Angeles.    

Based in Miami, Lotero will develop the Central America and Colombia markets for the company and market Lynden's ocean service into Puerto Rico. Lotero most recently was a senior vice president and board member at Navemar Group and has 15 years of industry experience. He earned a bachelor's and master's degree from ICESI University and completed further studies at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia.  

Beckstead will be based in Lynden's Los Angeles Service Center developing domestic offshore markets and ocean products. Prior to joining Lynden, Beckstead spent 17 years at Honolulu Freight Service as Sales Manager and National Accounts Director. He also worked for Franklin Covey Organizational Solutions Group as a Client Partner and owned his own management company. Beckstead studied at Brigham Young University.
