Luxury Online Retailer 'Pops Up' at Seattle Brick-and-Mortar Store
ATGStores.com and Styled Seattle are teaming up to give visitors to Pacific Place shopping center a unique style experience that merges personal fashion with interior design.
KIRKLAND, Wash., Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ATGStores.com, a premier online home furnishings retailer is furnishing fashion expert Darcy Camden's Styled Seattle pop-up store in downtown Seattle to explore how personal style influences interior design, and vice versa.
The Styled Seattle suite, which will be located on the second floor of Pacific Place shopping center in downtown Seattle, is set to open Wed., Sept. 14, 2016, and will feature furnishings from ATGStores.com.
"We're thrilled to partner with Darcy to really make Styled Seattle stand out at Pacific Place," said ATGStores.com President Michelle Newbery. "She's got great design instincts, and we have plenty of ways to highlight her style with a custom furniture and décor selection that her guests will enjoy."
Styled Seattle is a joint effort between founder and chief stylist Darcy Camden, stylist Sherri Garcia and fashion publicist Sydney Mintle. The personal styling pop-up store will offer shoppers wardrobe consulting services, closet makeovers, fashion seminars, style events and more.
"I believe there are many similarities between home design and wardrobe styling, and it was amazing to work with ATGStores.com," Camden said. "My team and I have performed over 800 wardrobe makeovers in our 10 years of business, but we've never been on the receiving end of one and are grateful to everyone who made it happen."
The interior design was overseen by Northwest Design Award winner Kirsten Conner in partnership with ATGStores.com. Conner, a Seattle-based interior designer, is a board member of the Northwest Society for Interior Designers with more than 10 years in professional practice leading her own design firm.
"As a part of my process, I divided the space into eight distinct furniture groupings," Conner said. "Then, in these lounge areas, my goal was to make Darcy's clients feel welcome, relaxed, inspired and completely open to transforming their look – and then perhaps their living spaces."
Visitors to Styled Seattle will be invited to browse the ATGStores.com website and try out the furnishings on hand while they receive style makeovers and tips. The interior design goal is to make people feel welcome and at home so they can more freely immerse themselves in their own style transformation.
"It's hard to imagine a more inviting space than what Darcy and Kirsten can dream up," Newbery said. "We're excited to see what they do, and look forward to furnishing other pop-ups in the future as we partner with more local businesses who love great design."
