WASHINGTON, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As his country begins its 12th six-month presidency of the European Union, the ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the United States, H.E. Jean-Louis Wolzfeld, will discuss the EU's priorities at a National Press Club Newsmakers news conference on Friday, July 10.
Those priorities include revitalizing the single EU market by stimulating investment, boosting economic growth, and reducing unemployment.
On the international level, Ambassador Wolzfeld will discuss managing the problem of migration; promoting sustainable development; placing European competitiveness in a transparent global framework, and strengthening the EU global presence, including in Iran and Ukraine, through the Transatlantic Partnership (TTIP).
