LUNGevity Unveils One-of-a-Kind, Comprehensive Lung Cancer Resource

WASHINGTON, Nov. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today LUNGevity Foundation, the nation's largest lung cancer nonprofit, announced the launch of a unique and comprehensive resource for everyone living with lung cancer, as well as their families and caregivers.  The new LUNGevity website provides access to a variety of vital information and supportive resources, from a robust Lung Cancer 101 section and expert blogs to a strong online lung cancer support community and list of grassroots LUNGevity events and survivorship summits held nationwide. 

The new LUNGevity website takes a holistic, 360 degree approach to helping survivors approach the disease, addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of a lung cancer diagnosis.  Website content was developed and vetted for accuracy by the medical editorial board and members of LUNGevity's prestigious Scientific Advisory Board.  Members of the LUNGvity Survivor Advisory Council also evaluated the content to ensure that it would be both accessible and relevant to lung cancer survivors and their caregivers.
