LUNGevity Foundation Receives Lung Cancer Advocacy Award
Award Recognizes LUNGevity for its Outstanding Research and Patient Education
WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- LUNGevity Foundation is the recipient of the University of Pennsylvania's Abramson Cancer Center Lung Cancer Advocacy Award in recognition of their Outstanding Research and Patient Education. The foundation was also recognized for the tremendous support and community that they offer for the thousands of people affected by lung cancer annually. Each year, the Abramson Cancer Center selects a lung cancer organization to receive the award based on their contributions to lung cancer support and advocacy. The award was presented at Abramson's Focus on Lung Cancer Conference in Philadelphia, PA on October 14, 2011.
