ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyber security company, Lunarline, Inc., has been awarded a prime contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a division of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). Under the contract, Lunarline will provide support covering areas related to the strategic direction of the FAA Information Security and Privacy (IS&P) function comprised of IS&P Governance, IS&P Compliance, and IS&P Operations.

The FAA IS&P program develops and delivers IT security policy, architecture, standards, best practices, and privacy management; ensures the security of the expanding environment, compliance with FAA and federal requirements and security training; and performs the operational activities intended to mitigate information security and privacy risks at the technical level.
