ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lunarline School of Cybersecurity (SCS) today unveiled a new web-based approach to solving cyber workforce challenges. SCS's new website provides users immediate access to training and certifications that satisfy all National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) and NIST 800-181 requirements. It also powers an advanced Learning Management System (LMS) built for the challenges of large enterprise training programs.
"This isn't just a great looking website," says Lunarline CEO Waylon Krush. "It represents a new strategy for solving cyber workforce challenges. It simplifies compliance with the NICE Framework and NIST 800-181. It features a new LMS for seamless connectivity to our online cyber courses and cyber range for scalable support to organizations of all sizes. And it gives us innovative cyber workforce development capabilities unmatched by any other cybersecurity training company."
SCS serves 1,000s of students annually across the Intelligence, Defense Federal Civilian and private sector. "SCS does so much for so many diverse organizations," says John McNulty, Lunarline's Director of Digital Marketing. "So we designed schoolofcybersecurity.com to serve diverse needs simultaneously."
As an example, SCS developed a tool to help Government organizations quickly identify the training and certifications they need to satisfy the NICE Framework. They also built a custom online application for federal organizations that automates NICE Framework reporting and provides out-of-the-box support to emerging compliance requirements. To support small business cybersecurity training, the SCS LMS provides organizations with an online tool for efficiently planning and executing cyber workforce initiatives.
Lunarline's nonprofit organization Warrior to Cyber Warrior (W2CW) will also use the new site to help its students transition from military service to civilian life. "I'm really excited about the site's potential to support Warrior to Cyber Warrior (W2CW)," says Mr. Krush. "Federal and Fortune 500 organizations rely on the NICE Framework and NIST 800-181 to organize and advance the cyber workforce. With these new applications our W2CW graduates can quickly identify the training and certifications they need to advance their careers and excel in civilian life."
