Lunarline Announces FedRAMP 3PAO Accreditation

ARLINGTON, Va., May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lunarline has been granted Accepted Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) status under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The company is now qualified to perform security assessments of Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to ensure they meet FedRAMP requirements. Lunarline is one of only nine organizations to obtain this classification.

To become a 3PAO, Lunarline successfully completed a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) coordinated conformity and assessment process. The assessment confirmed Lunarline has independence and quality management compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards and technical knowledge through Federal Information and Security Management Act (FISMA) knowledge testing.
