Luisa Delgado Appointed New CEO Of Safilo

PADUA, Italy, Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Luisa Delgado has been appointed as the new CEO of Safilo Group and Safilo Spa, as anticipated by the Company on June 19, 2013. Roberto Vedovotto will remain on the Board of Safilo Group as a non executive Director.

Luisa was a non executive Director of Safilo Group, and a Member of the global Executive Board and Chief Human Resources Officer of SAP AG from September 2012 to July 2013. Prior to that, she spent over 21 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where she worked in several local and international roles based in Portugal, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden. In her last role at P&G as Vice President and CEO for Nordic region she was responsible for the turnaround of the P&G business in the Nordic region, and as a leadmarket in digital marketing.

Luisa, born in 1966, is a Swiss national who graduated in Law from the Universite de Geneve, and holds a LLM from King's College/University of London. She is a non executive Director at INGKA/IKEA.
