LUFKIN, Texas, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lufkin Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:  LUFK) today announced that it will release its first quarter 2012 financial results before the market opens on Monday, May 7.  In conjunction with the release, Lufkin has scheduled a conference call that will be broadcast live over the Internet the same day starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Central Time). Investors may participate in the call either by phone or audio webcast.
