Lucosky Brookman LLP Hosts Inaugural Charity Golf Outing

For its inaugural year, the Firm hopes to raise over $100,000 for the Save A Child's Heart Foundation ("SACH") (www.saveachildsheart.org), an international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries whom suffer from heart disease.  SACH is dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation. 

Lucosky Brookman has adopted SACH as its charity of choice this year because of its mission and tangible impact on children around the world.  Since 1995, SACH has treated more than 3,300 children suffering from congenital and rheumatic heart disease aging from infancy to 18 years of age.  SACH has helped children in 48 countries, including Africa, South America, Europe, Asia and throughout the Middle East, where adequate medical care is unavailable.

Joseph Lucosky, managing partner of Lucosky Brookman states, "Through SACH, saving a child's life from terminal heart disease costs approximately $10,000.  Every $10,000 allows SACH to fly one child from a developing country and provide life-saving heart surgery, post-operative care, and room and board at the SACH children's state of the art pediatric surgery center and recovery home for up to three months.  The Firm is excited to be able to help such a worthy cause."
