Lucky Voice Doubles Size of its Email Database in One Year
Email drives 30% of bar bookings, returning 50p for every email opened
LONDON, February 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Lucky Voice, the UK's leading karaoke brand, today announced that they have doubled the size of their email database, the source of over 30% of the company's karaoke bar bookings, in the past year. The company credits this dramatic increase to their migration from generic email marketing to using Emailvision's relationship marketing platform, which enables highly-targeted email, mobile and social campaigns.
Lucky Voice turned to Emailvision with the goals of reaching new customers, creating a virtual touch point with in-bar customers and encouraging more bar customers to use the company's streaming karaoke platform. In just one year with Emailvision, Lucky Voice has seen their number of subscribers increase from 50,000 to 100,000. With up to date customer information and meaningful content, Lucky Voice's campaigns successfully reached their subscribers, which resulted in deliverability rates of 99.97%. Additionally, the quality and engagement-levels of the newly added subscribers has resulted in a return of 50p for every Lucky Voice marketing email opened.
After implementing Emailvision's Campaign Commander, a SaaS solution for online customer relationship marketing, Lucky Voice was able to easily determine which outreach strategies were contributing to higher sign-ups and click-through rates. Through Emailvision's analytics, Lucky Voice was able to quickly see that social approaches such as encouragement to share, sign-ups through Facebook, online competitions and social apps held more appeal to their customer base than static tactics like a traditional registration form.
Dan Pilkington, Digital Marketing Manager at Lucky Voice, comments: "We're delighted to have reached this milestone in such a short time. Emailvision has helped us not only double our database within a year, but also maintain the quality of those subscribers. Now, our new subscribers are even more likely to open emails and engage with us than old ones. Our conversations are stronger than they were before and we are able to see that through our online performance."
Lucky Voice was co-founded in 2003 by Nick Thisleton and Martha Lane-Fox. The company manages three karaoke bars and a further four franchised bars within TigerTiger across the UK.
