Lucidchart Bolsters Executive Team with New General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Finance
Corporate governance and transactional lawyer Cara Frisbie joins as vice president and general counsel; former InsideSales.com Chief Financial Officer Elliot Smith appointed as senior vice president of finance
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucidchart, the company driving innovation and collaboration through visual communication, today announced two hires to its executive team: Cara Frisbie as vice president and general counsel and Elliot Smith as senior vice president of finance. These appointments position Lucidchart for continued success as it drives rapid adoption of its visual productivity platform, which is used by over 15 million people in more than 180 countries.
A corporate governance and transactional lawyer, Frisbie will oversee all legal matters. Prior to joining Lucidchart, she represented Silicon Valley venture investors and startups from inception to exit at Am Law 100 firms. Additionally, Frisbie spent several years focused on international capital market transactions while living in Singapore and Sydney and served as the chief operating officer of a private company in the environmental trading space. She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a bachelor's degree from Rice University and a master's degree from the University of Sydney.

Smith holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Yale University.
