LTL Partner Elected to American Arbitration Association Board

LOS ANGELES, June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LTL partner K. Luan Tran has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).   The AAA, and its international division, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), provide conflict-management services in more than 80 countries.  In 2014, it had the largest number of filings among the major international arbitral providers.  Luan will serve a four-year term on the Board, which includes some of the most prominent dispute resolution experts in the world.      

Luan chairs LTL's arbitration practice.  At both LTL and his prior firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, Luan has successfully participated in various complex arbitration matters involving American, Asian, South American, European, and Middle Eastern parties before most of the leading arbitral institutions.  He is fluent in French and Vietnamese.
