In his current role, Mr. Brown specializes in Law Enforcement Consulting Services specializing in transparent internal affairs and police accountability practices/processes; police use of force, independent monitoring, community education, and diversity initiatives.

As a result of his dedication to the field of Law Enforcement, Mr. Brown has earned the Pennsylvania State Police Commendation Medal; the department's second highest award for his selfless and extraordinary service, leadership, and ethics in protecting the integrity of the department. Mr. Brown is also the recipient of Citations from the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives, in addition to a Certificate of Recognition from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of the Inspector General for his efforts in bringing positive change in the implementation and administration of police accountability measures. Mr. Brown also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the IACP for his contributions to the profession. Additionally, Mr. Brown was previously appointed (2004-2010) by then Pennsylvania Governor, the Honorable Edward G. Rendell as the First Deputy Commissioner of Professional Responsibility (Rank-Lt. Colonel) in the Department's 105-Year History.
Mr. Brown earned his MBA in Management from Eastern University, St. Davids, PA and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies in Criminal Justice from Elizabethtown College. Furthermore, he is a Graduate, 211th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
