LSO Delivers Parcels on Time and in Eye Catching New Vans, and with Cool New Uniforms and Sassy Packaging
Austin Ad Agency Door Number 3 Guides Re-Branding Work
AUSTIN, Texas, June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LSO, formerly Lone Star Overnight, the leading regional parcel carrier, today extended the company's rebranding effort by rolling out unique designs for the fleet of vans, in addition to new uniforms and packaging that complement the company's new name and brand. The vans are wrapped with fun tie-dyed, argyle and camouflage motifs, while the shipping boxes carry clever messages that speak to consumers.
The redesign includes branded messaging that underscores LSO's new tagline: It's all in the delivery. As part of the effort, LSO's fleet of vehicles has been converted into mobile billboards that feature entertaining messaging, reinforcing the high level of parcel delivery service LSO provides, with a sassy and assertive flair.
- Delivery vans with the tie-dyed motif include the messaging "Our on-time shipping record is pretty groovy," and "If this van's a-zippin', we're probably a-shippin'."
- Delivery vehicles with blue camouflage messaging reads "Great shipping never goes unnoticed," and "Even when we try to blend in, LSO's shipping stands out."
- Packaging rebranding includes the LSO Mailing tube, which on the end flap reads "You are rolling with the best shipper."
- Other rebranded items include new package Drop Boxes that are strategically placed throughout cities to meet customer's needs and several new crisply designed uniforms for operations management and drivers that set us apart from the competition.
"LSO is punctuating our rebranding effort by extending a bit of our uniqueness and sass to our fleet, our packaging and our uniforms," said Rick Jones, CEO of LSO. "We're excited about the revitalized energy this effort infuses in both our customers and our LSO team that simultaneously demonstrates both LSO's broad capabilities and it's personal and friendly approach."
"We felt it was important to convey LSO's great culture and personality in the rebrand," said MP Mueller, president and creative director of Austin indie ad agency Door Number 3. "While LSO takes shipping seriously, the staff is fun and entrepreneurial. LSO competes against the big boys, who tend to have brands that are fairly dry and stale. We wanted LSO's unique wink and passion for their business to come through with every touch point – from the vans to the packaging."
