LRN to Speak on Elevating Employee Behavior at Compliance Week 2014
NEW YORK, May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LRN, which helps organizations meet their compliance obligations, shape ethical behavior, and strengthen culture and leadership, announced today its participation in Compliance Week 2014, the organization's 9th annual conference and the most prestigious event designed for senior compliance, risk and audit executives at global corporations. Compliance Week 2014 convenes approximately 500 C-level executives, including chief privacy officers and chief compliance officers, from leading public companies. The event will run May 19 - May 21 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
LRN's Wayne Brody, a senior member of the firm's Ethics and Compliance Advisory Services Practice, will moderate and speak on two different panels at the event. Other LRN colleagues with expertise in Advisory Services and education will also be attending.
The first panel, "Corporate Culture as a Top-Level Control," will focus on the correlation between corporate culture and risk and control systems as well as the impact they can have on compliance, interactions with regulators, third parties, and customers.
The second closed-door workshop, "How to Elevate Employee Behavior," will review the findings from LRN's 2014 Ethics & Compliance Program Effectiveness Report. An industry first, LRN's latest report explores the structure of 170 companies' global ethics & compliance programs and the impact that their investments have had on program effectiveness. With a focus on the benchmarks designed to facilitate planning and the rigorous analytics and insights associated with them, attendees will learn exactly what works and what doesn't. The workshop will explore how leaders can drive program impact and elevate employee behavior.
"The Compliance Week conference brings together compliance professionals from all over the world to share and discuss best practices," said Wayne Brady of LRN. "We are pleased to participate in this year's event and reveal the latest findings from our study."
"The level of our speakers, attendees and sponsors, makes our annual conference the must-attend event for the compliance community," added Matt Kelly, editor-in chief of Compliance Week. "Our program is designed to address key issues that attendees need to know, as well as to drive thought leadership on compliance and the trends that senior compliance officers must address."
