L.R. Kimball Announces Addition of Two Leading Architects to New Jersey Office

EBENSBURG, Pa., Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- L.R. Kimball (www.lrkimball.com), part of CDI Engineering Solutions and a subsidiary of CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI), announced today the hiring of two leading architects to expand services in New Jersey and Eastern PA.  The firm is pleased to announce that Thomas Fantacone, AIA, LEED AP, and Jack King, AIA, LEED BD+C, have joined its architecture practice.  

Fantacone will lead L.R. Kimball's higher education practice, bringing a broad range of architectural design credentials to the firm.  His past experience includes design leadership for a planning, design and consulting firm in Somerset, NJ.  His planning and design credentials for the college and university market include designing projects for numerous mid-Atlantic higher education institutions.  Fantacone will be responsible for growing L.R. Kimball's broad portfolio of projects.  

King will be directly involved in the company's corrections practice as well as other architecture assignments.  His resume includes over 25 years of experience in management and design at a New Jersey-based planning, design and consulting firm with active architecture registrations in 14 states.  King's architecture project experience includes corrections, courthouse, office, hotel, higher education, K-12 education and retail facility projects across the East coast.

Kimball is also announcing that Richard Witt, Jr., AIA, will now serve as Senior Vice President of Business Development for architecture services.  Witt has been with the firm since 1996.  He is an experienced architect and project manager who has worked on a broad range of projects throughout his career.  In his new role, Witt will be responsible for leading business development activities for the architecture business unit, serving corrections, public safety, law enforcement, K-12, higher education, commercial, governmental and healthcare clients.
