LPL Financial Names Derek Bruton Managing Director
- Reflects Expanded Roles and Responsibilities of National Sales Manager, Independent Advisor Services -
BOSTON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- LPL Financial Corporation ("LPL Financial"), the nation's largest independent broker-dealer, announced that Derek Bruton, National Sales Manager, Independent Advisor Services (IAS), has also been appointed a Managing Director of the company. The appointment makes Mr. Bruton the tenth Managing Director in the company, and reflects the significantly expanded roles and responsibilities of his position as IAS National Sales Manager.
Mr. Bruton, who will continue to report directly to Bill Dwyer, President, National Sales and Marketing, has oversight for business consulting and business development for all independent advisors and RIAs, as well as financial planning services.
Prior to joining LPL Financial in 2007, Derek Bruton held a number of senior management roles at TD Ameritrade, Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab, building a particularly strong track record for growing custody services businesses.
