Low Introductory Price From FirstEnergy Solutions Provides Savings to Met-Ed's Residential Customers
AKRON, Ohio, April 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Residential electric customers of Met-Ed can sign up with FirstEnergy Solutions to receive a low introductory price on electric generation. By enrolling now, residents can lock in a fixed price of 7.00 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) on electric generation through the December 2012 meter read date. The price then becomes 7.75 cents per kWh through June 2014.
Residents who choose FirstEnergy Solutions as their electric generation supplier will continue to receive one bill and the same level of service from Met-Ed, and Met-Ed will continue to deliver the electricity, maintain the poles and wires, and respond to power outages.
